Your Food Truck is designed for quality, reliability and efficiency upfitted on a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 Cab Chassis

The conception of our Hertel Grilltechnik Food Trucks allows operating them with only one person. Unlike to other food truck concepts, the Grillmaster stands outside of the truck and serves the customer on eye level. Customers get a transparent insight into the Food Truck and enjoy the Grillmaster‘s show-cooking while waiting for their food.

  • The truck is equipped with two Hertel Grill units (one G11, one G13). Together they offer space for 24 spits with 11 main burners and 5 intermediate burners
  • The superstructure, made in Germany, is attached to an American made Mercedes Benz Sprinter cab chassis

  • On our US models the sales flap opens to the right side of driving direction
  • The sales operation is protected from the weather with extendable wind screens and wind barriers.
  • The two gas Containers have a capacity of approx. 50 gallons of propane gas. They are installed horizontally within a fire-proof compartment in the back of the superstructure. Fifty gallons usually last for four to six shifts

  • Electrical power supply for grilling operation and refrigeration can be provided by a built-in power generator (not included, available on request) – no external power outlet necessary.
  • Two refrigeration compartments; capacity for up to 70 spits of chicken or other meats, drinks, sides and deserts
  • Two built-in sinks: one with two compartments for the operator next to the rotisseries, another one with three big compartments in the back of the vehicle
  • Huge fresh-water tank with a propane water heater for the sinks and huge wastewater tanks underneath each sink

 


Professional Grill units

The professional grill units are well tried and tested for more than thirty years.

Equipment:

  • infrared gas burners powered by propane or natural gas
  • wide arragement of spits-holder to prepare large chickens and knuckles
  • Gas burners with turbo-aerator for higher temperatures, fast grilling and fuel saving
  • Automatic interruption of gas supply in case of heat decline (ignition fuses)
  • High performance grill drive (6,5 times/min), durable and maintenance-free
  • Self-acting chain tension for grill drive reliable and long lasting
  • Fire proof bearings for grill drive

  • Large drip off pan for grease

  • Heat resistant grill window
